AVCInc Zia

The symbol used in the Affordable Voice Communications Inc. logo is based on the very old Zia symbol of the Zia Pueblos Indians of New Mexico. The Zia symbol has the following interpretations:

1. The color red represents red earth and beautiful sunsets. The color yellow represents sunshine.
2. The circle represents eternity and the circle of life.
3. The four lines on the top represent the directions: north, south, east, and west.
4. The four bottom lines represent the four seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
5. The four lines on the right represent the stages of life: birth, youth, adult, and old age.
6. The four lines on the left represent the virtues: helping your people, strong body, pure soul, and clean mind.

The Zia logo is a constant reminder of the principles under which Affordable Voice Communicatons Inc. was founded:

1. The red earth is a limited resource and must be used wisely. To this end, AVCInc conserves trees by doing all billing and subscriber services without paper.
2. The yellow sunshine reminds us that everything about our services must be fully and plainly explained and available for everyone to see.
3. The cycle of life and the stages of life remind us that it is the actions of today that count, not the promises of yesterday.
4. The directions reminds us that the world of communications covers every direction and distance.
5. The four seasons reminds us that services are provided every day of the year.
